Happy Thanksgiving

LIfe is good!

I did some baking yesterday. Oatmeal Raisin cookies and a batch of bread. The bread didn't turn out, it was rising beautifully and then when i went to put it in the oven it went flat. Two reason, could be it wasn't warm enough in the house or I left it to rise too long. I was occupied cooking dinner and stuff so it was left to rise for about an hour and a half. Too long. Oh well, it still takes good and it's not a heavy bread for a 9 grain bread.

So I'm making the trusty one bread recipe and made it into buns, it's rising right now. On the warm oven.

I'm still trying to shake this darn cold. I'm feeling much better but my sinuses are still killing me, sore throat is mostly gone but I'm still coughing a lot and I'm must have a sinues infection because I can't seem to drain them for long. It just sucks, I've gone through so many boxes of tissues.

I am getting good sleep though. Bubba has taken to climbing into bed with SmartGuy, they share a room and it's a huge relief for me because now he's hogging SmartGuy's bed and not mine. I'm happy and I'm getting sleep.

Ever since last week my hip has really been bothering, I'm not sure if the two days in bed really helped it on not. Since if I sit for too long, it starts to bother me. I've noticed this happening a few times since I've been back to work in January.

So far I've quit smoking for over 2 weeks and while I didn't get much exercise since last week, I'll start again tomorrow, with some stretching and walking. I'm really looking forward to it. My only problem seems to be that winter is coming, while it's been a late winter,no snow has stayed on the ground yet and it's unusually warm for this time of year. It's very disconcerting. I'm hate all the weather changes we've been going through.

It could be Bursitis in your hips. I had that same problem. There are exercises you can do to help it.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and I hope you're feeling better soon. (((hugs)))

I had a sore hip last year sometime and found exercise for Bursitis that did help, I'll see if I still have those saved somewhere. Thanks for the reminder.

Congrats on the non smoking achievement!!

That's a tough one and if you can do that you can do anything!
