If you are on a weight loss journey you can use both of these ways to keep track of progress.
Using a scale has it's ups and downs. You can have set weigh in days once a week. I weigh everyday, I like to see the scale going down. If there is no down work movement then I know I have to step up my game. I know some people don't like this and that is fine. Find what works for you, what you are comfortable with.
Measurements are a great way to see the progress if the weight is not going down. You can see the progress especially if you are exercising regularly and your body is tightening up and shrinking. The scale doesn't always show this but measurements do!
I have no excuses, it's been ten years since I first got pregnant and over 4 years since I was last pregnant. So it's time for a change, to get back in shape and I know I can do it.
I haven't take my measurements yet, I keep forgetting but it's on the books for the weekend.
