31 Days - Day 4 Sleeping

I've been thinking about what to write about next, I have a huge list of topics but today seemed like a good time for talk about sleep since I'm sitting here blurry eyed and feeling less than energetic.

Sleep is very important. They say 8 hours of sleep a night is ideal. For me it's between 6-7 anything more and I'm feel very groggy and sluggish. I'm not sure why, maybe it's in my head. Hah!

If you get enough sleep for some reason you feel great, you don't over eat, your mind is clear and you don't feel sluggish. Then you can get to an important part of this journey and that is exercise.

I go to the gym in the early morning, 6am. If I've gone to bed the night before at a good time such as 10 - 10:30, then I'm up at 5 or 5:30 and ready to hit the gym. I feel great after that. It's the setting a bedtime routine that I find difficult because I am a mother of 3 and my down time is so minimum I take advantage of my quiet nights while the boys are sleeping. I get a lot done usually.

So when I stay up too late and I sleep in (I don't normally use an alarm clock) I miss going to the gym and that's not acceptable to me.

So find out how much sleep you need and set a routine, that is what I'm going to be working on for the rest of the month. I need to do it for myself.
