Snow day for me, kinda.

I woke up today feeling like crud. I lay there for a few minutes then I hear the van pull into our crunchy drive. Mars had gone to the shop early. I heard Kale get up and wake up Mica. He comes in to tell me he loves me. One of his new rituals, always saying he love me, oh and I'm super pretty but only with my pink pajamas on with sparkles.

Life ensues. Make sure the kids have breakfast and get dressed. I made some lunches for Mickey and Kale. Mickey's my slow goer in the morning, he's always got something to do and gets distracted from his tasks. He eats slowly and never puts his socks on in the morning.

Mars tells me that it's snowed at least 5 inches and the van is plowing snow. The kids will have a fun day out in the snow. So off they all go to start their day.

Today my throat hurts, my neck hurts, I have a headache, I'm coughing and sneezing and I'm freezing. I'd really like to warm up but I'm super lazy. I had a glass of water and made a coffee and then planted myself on the couch and I've been here ever since, surfing through Facebook, checking out blogs and watching TV. I'm still in my pj's and I have shower, brushed my teeth or eaten breakfast so I now I need to move my butt. I'm really cold so a hot shower will do wonders and maybe I can do something. There's laundry to fold or a quilt I could finish.

I finished the top of the quilt for Kale. I just have to put it all together and I'll be done. So I have stuff to do but I just want to rest.
