To Be Sung Underwater by Tom McNeal

To Be Sung UnderwaterTo Be Sung Underwater by Tom McNeal
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have never felt more in the story or in tune with a character as I have with this book. The lyrical and intellectual writing is comforting and perfect for Judith’s story. The author wove such a in depth look at her life I literally couldn't put this book down.

We follow Judith in her current life, marriage, motherhood and career while she is searching for her past and acting in strange ways. The chapters go back and forth so we know of her first love Willy Blunt and how her life came to be without him. We get a look at her life as a TV show editor, a wife and semi-detached mother. I thought the characters were real, their thoughts and reasoning were well done and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I don't think I can do justice to describing this book. It was just wonderful.

The books ends with some unanswered questions or at least it makes you think  and yet, it felt complete.
