There is nothing like living in the Yukon.
I woke up this morning and went outside. The river that is usually roaring by was so quiet. There is a lot of ice build up now. It was quiet, so quiet, no sounds could be heard, no trucks, no dogs (that really is a feat). It was snowing big soft fluffy snowflakes and I could see the soft orange glow of town over the hill. It was about -11°C, so not too bad. I stood there for minutes drinking in the peaceful feeling that overcame me.
It's probably the closest I've ever been to meditation. I feel to relaxed today.
