When changing your lifestyle you can't do it alone. Most especially if you have a family.
Changing you food and lifestyle affects everyone and the best way to help that change is to include your family since you don't want to be spending time alone or cooking to cater to everyone.
I love doing things with my kids from menu planning, sharing grocery shopping and cooking with them and my husband. This also includes getting in physical activity with the boys, whether we are walking, dancing, playing Wii or just playing hide and seek or tag. We do it together.
All this activity makes us closer as a family and teaches the boys how to be together with the family and that a healthy lifestyle is important for our minds and bodies. It's something that I strive for in keeping my boys healthy and active.
