Well, another quick trip. I'm sure Little One is so sick of being in his carseat. Poor baby has eye infection now and we had some drops from when Mickey had a eye infection, we didn't use the eye drops for him though because a friend told me to use tea, cold tea right from the bag and it worked.
Little One woke up this morning all gobbered, poor thing. See I've been using the eye drops, I hope to see some improvement because his eye is really red and swollen, I've never seen this on the eyes before. He doesn't like the drops either.
He was pretty fussy in his car seat and once we were home he was as happy as can be. Hubby is now home and we are all so glad he is home. He had a great visit, saw his children, brother and mom and all seem to be doing well. I'm glad, it's been awhile since I've seen two of his children. I have yet to meet one of them.
Okay, so Mickey had his hearing tested this afternoon and he is perfectly fine. So now we concentrate on working on his speech. The speech specialist gave me a book to use with ideas on how to work with him and I look forward to reading it. I've seen some great starts for him, making attempts at words the last few days. Today he even tried saying elevator without prompting and I knew what he was trying to see, some of it seemed familiar. So that is good.
I'm really tired now, didn't get much sleep in the hotel last night. Little One doesn't sleep very well in the playpen we brought and frankly, the two adults and a baby in a double bed just doesn't work plus the bed was pretty hard. So I'm wiped out now!
