I wonder if there are different types of weightloss. I ask this because sometimes I feel like a fraud. I`m not exercising everyday and I`m not eating right all the time and I feel like my progress is so slow. Maybe I`m not there yet and maybe this is such a slow transition for me.
My plan for the day is to be more active and drink more water and eat more fruits and veggies. I`ve had more than a few really bad days the last week. I`ve even had a few cigarettes, so last night while I was having a major craving, instead of rushing out to buy some or find one, I cleaned the playroom and hall in front so I could get more organized today. More my exercise equipment back in place and start using them again today. Since I have one more week off work, I`m going to make the most out of it and get the kids outside and exercise everyday. Sledding hill here we come.
WOOHOO! I love sledding, and what a great way to take your mind off of food and ciggies.
Keep going D!!
Can I offer some unsolicited advice? If not - stop reading.
Honey - stay away from the scale. Everything I've ever read about losing weight says if you are married to that scale during dieting you will feel like you're going nowhere and that you're a failure. None of that is true. You can gain weight for other reasons than just fat retention. Water retention, bloating, gas, clothing...all of that can cause weight gain. Not only that but if you are working out then you're gaining muscle and muscle weighs more than fat does. (Google it - it is true. :) )
I'm going to wish you the best and hope that you can find yourself staying away from the cigs (a bad habit/vice of my own) and throw that scale out the window. (((HUGS)))
