31 Days–Day 2 Getting Started

There are a few things you need to do to get started.

A plan to follow.

Start by writing down a few things:

Why you want to do this? I’d like to be healthier, more active with my boys especially with winter just around the corner, actually it may snow tomorrow for all I know. It’s pretty chilly up here in the Yukon.

What will this get you? A healthier lifestyle I can pass on to my kids. I will feel better on the inside and out.

Why haven’t you succeeded before? I haven’t learned to deal with stress.

What do you fear? I feel being overweight my whole life and dying too young before I see my babies grow up and have babies of their own.

Keep a journal and write down you day, when you eat, what you eat, what you were feeling. Drink your water, track that. Track your time for exercise and anything else you may be working toward. Journal is a great way to get your feelings out and work through any issues you have and to see where you need work.

Prepare.

Take measurements.

Set goals.

Prepare you kitchen. Get rid of all that processed food and junk food full of sugar.

Buy fruits and veggies.

Plan your meals and plan healthy snacks.

Great reminder! Thank you!

I blog at 'Only A Breath', and I'd love for you to stop by when you have time. I'm writing about "31 Days to Love Your Neighbor". :)
Have a great day!
Melanie :)
